What We Do
The Great Falls Public Library offers resources and services for learners young and old, and the Foundation helps support many of these programs.
The Foundation encourages early learning by purchasing children’s and young adult literature and resources through its annual Book-A-Thon fundraiser.
The Book-A-Thon raises
$60,000 annually
from our community to fund children’s and youth books, programming, and materials.
The Foundation received a
$30,000 grant
to fund an Early Literacy Outreach Specialist position.
We take literacy programs into
14 childcare centers,
out of the library and into our community.
The Foundation grants over
$140,000 a year
to fund programs like Mango Languages, Chilton Auto Database, Summer Music in the Park, and so many more.
You can learn more about our financial statistics for the Library in the Annual Report here.
