It's time for the Book-A-Thon!

EXTRA! EXTRA!
The 36th Annual Children's Book-A-Thon is here, and we've got a story worth shouting from the rooftops!
Picture this: a child discovers their first favorite book. They sound out words that once seemed impossible. They lose themselves in adventures, learn about far-off places, and begin to dream bigger. That's not just a heartwarming scene—it's the foundation of a healthy, thriving community.

What We Do
The Great Falls Public Library offers resources and services for learners young and old, and the Foundation helps support many of these programs.
The Foundation encourages early learning by purchasing children’s and young adult literature and resources through its annual Book-A-Thon fundraiser.
The Book-A-Thon raises
$60,000 annually
from our community to fund children’s and youth books, programming, and materials.
The Foundation received a
$30,000 grant
to fund an Early Literacy Outreach Specialist position.
We take literacy programs into
14 childcare centers,
out of the library and into our community.
The Foundation grants over
$140,000 a year
to fund programs like Mango Languages, Chilton Auto Database, Summer Music in the Park, and so many more.
