How We Support the Library
The Foundation helps to support the library by funding several programs and purchases of supplemental materials. Municipal funds do not always allow the library to offer all it that it could, and that’s where the Foundation comes in. You can help the library continue its tradition of excellence in service and materials.
The Foundation relies on donations from you, the private citizen and reader. Some donation monies we invest and carefully tend to provide for future library needs; some monies are ‘passed through’ directly to the library for specific projects and needs. All gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible since the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.
You can support the library through the Foundation by donating to the annual Book-A-Thon, by giving cash gifts, by planned giving through a will or trust, or by using matching funds from your employer. Contact us for more information on gifts for specific projects or ideas for estate planning.
